FORTIS BC REBATE INITIATIVE: for AGRICULTURAL AND RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS

The Keremeos Irrigation District has applied to Fortis under their rebate program for power savings for both the East & West Pumping Stations.  This could end up being a great savings for the District, as power is one of our largest expenses.  In 2025 our power expense was over $200,000, so this could end up being great savings for the District, which would ultimately be passed onto ratepayers. We therefore encourage you to reduce water consumption between the peak demand hours from 4 PM  to 9 PM.  We need most of the community to participate to achieve any savings !!  We are currently still in STAGE ONE Conservation.
