Check the surrounding area for possible leaks. Check your in house pressure reducing valve.  Next, call our office and report low pressure for your area.

A repair could have been completed recently allowing air to enter the line, causing the discoloration.

The Keremeos Irrigation District does not add any chemicals to the water.

The water for the community of Keremeos all comes from wells. Between periods of flushing, especially in the heat of the summer, a dead end line may have a build up of matter that may cause a slight odour.  Please contact the District office if you notice an unusual smell to the water.  If your hot water tank needs cleaned out, this may also cause an odour.

Most likely your water heater needs to be flushed. CAUTION: Most manufacturers recommend hiring a professional to flush your water heater. If you plan on doing this yourself, read the owner's manual to keep from being hurt and or damaging the water heater.

We may have received it after the due date or we may not have received it at all. Call our office and we will help you solve the problem.

The due date is usually the middle of May of each year.

A 10% penalty will be added on after the due date, and an additional 10% penalty will be added on if unpaid by October 31st.
